By using Resource Buddy (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Resource Buddy Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") may update these Terms at any time.
We will post changes on our website. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Description of Service
Resource Buddy is a web-based tool that helps educators create professional behaviour modification plans using AI.

Resource Buddy is an assistive tool. It does NOT replace the judgment of qualified professionals such as resource teachers, school psychologists, or administrators. You are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and implementing any plan generated by the Service.

Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate information
• Protect your login credentials
• Notify us of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.

Lifetime Access Offer
During our launch period, we offer lifetime access for a one-time payment of $49.
This offer is limited to the first 250 users.

What Lifetime Access Includes:
• Unlimited plan generation
• Access to current features
• Access to future updates and improvements
• No recurring fees

What Lifetime Access Does NOT Include:
• A guarantee the Service will exist forever
• A guarantee all future features will be included
• Access to future premium features we may add
• Protection from Service discontinuation (we reserve the right to discontinue the Service with 90 days’ notice)

After 250 lifetime spots are sold, the Service will shift to $15/month.

Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
To request a refund, email support@resourcebuddy.app within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days, all sales are final.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Share your login credentials
• Reverse-engineer or copy the Service
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the system
• Upload malware or harmful code
• Harass, threaten, or harm others through the Service
• Resell or commercially redistribute generated plans

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Intellectual Property
Our Content:
The Service and all related materials are owned by Resource Buddy Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.

Your Content:
You own the information you enter into the Service.
You grant us a limited license to process that information solely to generate your plans.

Generated Plans:
You own the plans you generate and may use them for educational purposes.
You may not sell, license, or redistribute them commercially.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that:
• The Service will be uninterrupted
• The Service will be error-free
• The plans generated will fit every situation
• The Service will meet your expectations

You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resource Buddy Inc. is not liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages related to implementation of generated plans

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid ($49 for lifetime access).

Professional Responsibility
You understand that:
• Resource Buddy is a tool, not professional advice
• You must review and adjust all plans before implementation
• You are responsible for following school policies and legal requirements
• You may need parental consent depending on your jurisdiction
• You must use professional judgment when supporting students

Resource Buddy Inc. is not responsible for outcomes related to your use or implementation of generated plans.

Data and Privacy
We do NOT store any student data or plan content.
Plans are generated in real time and delivered to you.
Once downloaded, they are your responsibility to store securely and in compliance with school policies.

Termination
By You:
You may delete your account by contacting support@resourcebuddy.app.
No refunds are issued after the 30-day guarantee period.

By Us:
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or fraudulent activity.

Upon termination, you lose access to the Service. Any plans you previously downloaded remain yours.

Dispute Resolution
Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, unless otherwise required by local law.

Arbitration:
Disputes will be settled through binding arbitration where allowed.
You waive your right to a jury trial and class action participation.

Exceptions:
Either party may seek injunctive relief related to intellectual property or violations of these Terms.

Miscellaneous
• These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Resource Buddy Inc.
• If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• You may not transfer these Terms. We may assign them to a successor without notice.
